SiteHarbour Digital ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the principles of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), applied on a best-practice basis as a small freelance operator.
We collect information you voluntarily provide via our contact form, quote form, booking form or by email — typically your name, email address, phone number or meeting link, business name, and a description of the project you'd like help with. We also collect standard website analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate location, referral source) through tools such as Google Analytics.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or proposal, deliver the work you engage us for, invoice you, and improve our website. If you opt in, we may occasionally send you updates about our work. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Because we operate as a small freelance team working remotely, only the specific freelancers involved in delivering your project have access to your information, on a strict need-to-know basis. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
To run the business we rely on trusted third-party tools which may store data on your behalf, including email providers, cloud storage, video meeting platforms (such as Zoom or Google Meet), invoicing software, and website analytics. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Our website uses cookies for analytics and to remember your cookie consent preference. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
Your information is stored using reputable cloud services and access is restricted to the freelancers working on your project. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access, but no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as is reasonably needed to serve you and meet basic record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Just email us and we'll action the request within a reasonable timeframe.
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
